SNOW MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!

We have finally gotten snow this year. Brookie couldn't wait to go outside and play in the snow. The first batch that came through really wasn't enough to play in. When I got home from work on Tuesday afternoon we got all bundled up to go out and play. While we were out there it starting snowing really hard. That makes it more fun when you are playing in it. Brookie wanted to build a snowman so bad but there wasn't enough and it was a dry snow. Maybe we will get one more snow day to go out and have more fun. She didn't want to come inside but I bribed her with chocolate milk. Worked like a charm.

Brookie making a snow ANGEL!

Brookie thought she would go inside here playhouse and get warm by the fire. If only the fire was real.

Brookie loves the movie "The Christmas Story". We were suppose to be sticking out our tongues like the little boy in the movie that got his tongue stuck to the pole. But she turned her head before we got the pic.

Baby Eggering!

Welcome Mackenzie Nicole Eggering! She was 7 lbs and 19 inches long! She was born on January 12th. Brookie and I went to visit them at the hospital. She is so cute with a head full of dark hair. Let me tell you thought it was quite the eye opener for me. Brookie was wanting to touch and feed Mackenzie. She was all about her. I am anxious to see how she is when our little one arrives. Congratulations Matt and Marie!

Disney on Ice

Since Brookie is into Mickey Mouse so much we went to see Disney on Ice. Mama Pralle came along with us. It was a terrific time until it got over. Brookie loved seeing all of the characters. It involved Mickey Mouse, Cars, Little Mermaid, Lion King, and Tinkerbell. Out of all of them I would say that Cars, Lion King and Tinkerbell were the best. Afterwards when we left was when it wasn't as fun. We went out to get lunch and I was holding Brooklyn to put her back in the car and I tripped on the curb and fell while I was holding her. I scratched up my hand and knee and Brookie hit her head. She just got a bump out of it thank goodness. Then after the weekend was over my mom discovered that her car got broken into and they stole her credit card. They had quite a good time with her card. However they learned to break into cars they are good at it because unless you were really looking for damage you couldn't really see it. But since then, they credit card company has taken it over so she isn't responsible for any of the charges. So next we might think twice about going to Disney on Ice in the city.

New Years Eve

On new years eve we went over to the Lawrence's. We had a great time playing games. Brookie and Jack had a good time chasing each other around the house. Brookie is wearing Jack's cape and holding the gun that jack got for Christmas. She is really into cowboy stuff. They had a quite the time trying to share the gun. Jack is being so patient with her here.

Christmas Day

On Christmas Day we went to both sides of the family. It was very exciting day and long day for Brooklyn.

All of us at my parents house.

Mama and Pa Kaimann got Brooklyn a stroller for her baby doll.

Along with the stroller was the toy bar for the stroller.

Pa Kaimann got Brookie and the other girls a pair of gold cross earrings.

Uncle Kurt got Brookie a vacuum. Which she absolutely loves and has to help me clean house with it. The only bad thing is that it makes noises but doesn't really suck anything up. If it did that would really be helping me.

Uncle Kurt is a die hard fisherman along with a Bass Cat fan. Here he is showing off is new fishing shirt.

Mama and Papa Pralle got Brookie a broom to help me clean also.

Brookie is still very much into Mickey Mouse. Mama and Papa Pralle got her a Mickey Mouse backpack that she can carry everything in.

Mama and Papa Pralle got Brookie a big wheel for Christmas. She drives that thing everywhere. It even makes noises like it is starting up.

Christmas Morning!!

Christmas morning this year was interesting. Brookie woke up and saw that the cookies for Santa were gone. Then she noticed the presents under the tree. She said that the presents were for Santa. We told her that they were from Santa. But she started crying and still thought that the presents were for Santa. Finally we got her to open her gifts. She told us that she wanted Santa to bring her a Barbie fishing pole, pink cowboy hat and a baby doll stroller for Christmas.

Brookie in her pink cowboy hat!

She also got pink cowboy boots.

Now she can really catch a big "one" with her Barbie fishing pole.

Of course she needed a horse to ride on with her cowboy stuff.

Santa also brought her a bed for her baby doll.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to Granny Ruth's house during the day. We had a good time visiting with all of the family. Then that evening my dad, mom and brother came over to our house. We a great evening hanging out.

Here Brooklyn is opening a gift from Mama Debbie and Papa John. It is a wooden girl that you can dress with magnetic clothes.

Here Brookie is front of the Christmas tree.

Brookie is laying in the monkey bed that Granny Ruth got her. She loves to lay in front of the TV in it.

Gingerbread Girl

Mama Kay Kay made all of her granddaughters an apron. When Brookie got home that day she couldn't wait to show me her apron. All of the girls got to bake cookies and wear their aprons and gingerbread headbands. Here she is showing off her apron and cookies she made with Mama Kay Kay.
