Since I have been on maternity leave we have spent a lot of time at home. On a rainy day we built a fort in the living room. Brooklyn thought that was pretty neat.
Under the fort we had a picnic lunch together and colored coloring books.

Then I found her asleep like this later in the afternoon.

Like I said more swimming. The Bauer side of the family rents a pool in Old Monroe for the kids to go swimming. Brooklyn had a blast swimming with all of her cousins!


Brooklyn was obsessed with this kick board. She hooked the strap around her wrist and pulled that thing everywhere.

Summertime swim

Since we have had Bobbi Jo, Brooklyn does a lot of swimming. She is swimming at Mama and Papa Pralle's house here. We have brought our slide from home over to their house. Since then she uses it to slide into the pool. She has a blast on it!

Here is a video of her sliding into the pool. The funniest thing is that she kid of bounces in once she hits the bottom of the slide.

Our first week home...

Our first week home was kind of crazy. Thanks to Mama Debbie and Mama Kay Kay for coming up different days of the week to help us out. We really appreciate everything yo have done for us.

One night after feeding Bobbi Jo and putting her to bed this is what I came back into the living room to find. Ben and Brookie sleeping on the couch.

I love this picture of Bobbi Jo.

A friend/co-worker of mine came to visit us at the hospital. Here is a picture of her daughter Josie Boettcher, Brookie and Bobbi Jo. Brooklyn and Josie get to see each other a lot and they play well together. There are 4 months age difference between them. Josie is going to be a BIG sister in November. She is going to have a little sister as well. The funny thing is that there will be 4 months age difference between Bobbi Jo and baby Boettcher just like Brookie and Josie. Erin, thank you for bringing Josie with you to the hospital. Brookie had a great time playing with her as usual.
